A Word about Security

All order forms on our web-site are encrypted with an X.509-based 128-bit security using a key issued by Verisign. This company issues digital certificates for many of the largest on-line vendors, and the certificate is compatible with virtually all web-browser software. Please note that in using www.gettips.com, some individual frames on the site are encrypted (such as this one), while others are not (such as the menus). This "fools" many web-browsers into thinking the entire site is not secured. However, this is not the case. To verify the security of this frame, for instance, on a Windows-based computer you can right-click on the actual content frame, and select either the option "View Frame Info" (in Netscape) or "Properties" (in MS-Internet Explorer). This brings up accurate security info for the specific frame.
